Senior .NET developer

We are currently looking for an experienced senior-level .NET Software Developer to join our core team of engineers and consultants responsible for the design, development, and testing of web applications within the .NET environment.

Leveraging your strong background in object-oriented design and programming, your responsibilities as an Stonehenge Partners Software Developer may include all aspects of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) from design to programming to test. Working in a team environment, you will have the opportunity to participate in the successful development and release of a variety of products, including new product development, feature enhancements, and custom product development - all using the latest technologies and tools in a Microsoft-centric environment.

In this particular role, you will use your in-depth knowledge of and passion for .NET technologies to provide key subject matter technical leadership for the entire development team, to provide advice on technology capabilities and trends, and to provide both formal and informal mentoring for both junior team members and for other senior developers transferring skills from JAVA to .NET. The ideal candidate will be extremely knowledgeable in the latest and most efficient ASP .NET tools available on the market and will be able to add significant "hands on" technical leadership throughout the entire SDLC. You will also be responsible for the design and development of key software components and you will use your experience to refine application frameworks to streamline development and improve maintainability and extendability.

• BS in Computer Science or related field
• Immediate authorization to work in the US
• 8+ years relevant experience in the design, development, implementation, and integration of large-scale, enterprise systems
• Expert-level experience with .NET technologies, including C# and ASP.NET
• Experience designing and developing reusable components at the presentation layer
• Solid understanding of object oriented analysis and design
• Experience with SOA, ESB, Web Services, WSDL, XML
• Experience with standard development processes such as RUP, agile development, and test driven approach to development
• Outstanding verbal and written skills
• Excellent conceptual, problem solving, and analytical skills
• Demonstrated passion for technology and the ability/desire to inspire, guide, and mentor others
